This policy explains what information YardMakeover AI (“we”, “us”) collects when you use yardmakeoverai.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture and a unique account ID from Google. We never see your Google password.
• Photos you upload. The photo of your yard is sent to our server and to our AI provider to generate a design. We do not keep a copy of the original photo after the design is generated.
• Generated designs. We store the images we generate for you so you can view and download them. Each image is saved at a long, random web address; anyone who has that link can open the image.
• Usage information. We keep your credit balance, and our hosting providers log basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and request times to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

• To sign you in, keep track of your credits and generate designs you request.
• To prevent abuse, such as creating many accounts to collect free credits.
• To respond to your support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not show ads, and we do not use your photos or designs in our marketing without your permission.

Service providers

We rely on these companies to run the service. They process data on our behalf under their own terms:

• Supabase: sign-in, database and image storage.
• Replicate: runs the AI model that generates your design from your photo.
• Vercel: website hosting.
• Google: sign-in.

If we start offering paid credits, payments will be handled by a payment provider. We will not receive or store your full card number.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies only to keep you signed in. While you sign in, your uploaded photo is kept temporarily in your browser’s session storage so you don’t have to upload it again; it is removed right after. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your account and generated designs until you ask us to delete them. To delete your account, your designs, or both, email us at support@yardmakeoverai.com from the address you sign in with. We will delete them within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records by law.

Children

YardMakeover AI is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and the date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated policy. See also our Terms of Service.
